Today we closed on our first home. After the phone book sized pile of pages were signed we went over to the house with our sellers. The picture up top of the furniture now belongs to us, they needed to get rid of it and we needed a couch and tables! Now Jeff and I are just looking forward to moving the rest of our belongings down so we can finally get all settled in.
Future backyard: I promise to never take you for granted! So it's official.. we're closing on our first home this Wednesday. Jeff and I are really excited to have our very own home and we can't wait to be closer to his (and my future) family!
Jeff and I both had yesterday off so we decided to spend a day up at Breckenridge to go skiing. This was my second time skiing and I was pretty nervous! When we got to the top of the mountain a ski patrol man told me if I wanted to, they could take me down to the bottom on the ski lift. Jeff told me I wouldn't want to do that because they would have to stop the entire lift and everyone would have to wait for me to come down. So I went down and I survived! Jeff was a great teacher and the day seemed to fly by. He is so excited that I finally agreed to go skiing with him that he is already planning our next trip to the mountains.
So Jeff and I had our second Valentines Day dinner. I made him enchiladas as he requested. They don't present well, it looks like a big pan of pig slop... but they were very yummy! Now I can add this to my list of things that I've made...I'm up to about 5 so far! My goal is to be at least in the double digits for our new home. Such goals!
Here is Fiona at 12 weeks right after we picked her up from the airport. She was the biggest 12 week old puppy that I'd ever seen..she weighed 18 lbs! I was so excited I called all of my friends to tell them about our new addition. 
Dad got to spend the first week with Fiona while I was at work. He would send me pictures throughout the day to show me how she was doing. She spent most of the time sleeping on dad on the couch (probably watching sports center).

She started off eating 1 cup of food a day and now she eats 9 times as much! Believe it or not she didn't have much of an appetite as a puppy..we were worried she wouldn't like to eat food ever.
she could barely move the rest of the night!
She used to have the hardest time getting up into our bed I would have to cheer for her to get her excited enough to make it all the way to the top.
At six months old she still loved being held..but she was starting to get too heavy for me!
I can't hold her anymore, so now I just cuddle with her in bed!
At nine months she took up most of the couch!
She'll always be my little baby though!
Believe it or not, Jeff made me dinner the other night! He was so cute and suprised me after my work-out with a really yummy dinner that he made all by himself. Fiona was jealous that she couldn't try some. I may be marrying my very own Emeril! 
Today I went to see "He's just not that into you" with a few of my girlfriends and it was so cute! The theater was packed like a can of sardines and we had to sit in the front neck-craners row, but it was worth it. Tomorrow Kristi and I are off to go look at some more bridesmaid dresses, hopefully we'll find some shops that are open on Sundays!
She even moved closer to the tv to see the kitties up close! ...anyway...Jeff should be home soon and I will have someone else to pay attention to besides the big silly dog!! GO CARDINALS!! (I wish I could be saying GO Broncos, but there is always next year... :) Have a great week everyone, let's hope the groundhog see's his shadow! Or do we not want him to? Whichever means spring is near, let's hope for that!
