Before we lived in our home...
After! Jeff had a bachelor party to go to all day/night Saturday, so I got to play with the kitchen while he was gone. Got to love TJMax homestore!!Fiona got a brand new toy... a softball to replace her baseball that she has destroyed over the last few weeks. Best thing is, these balls are free compliments of all the ball games taking place at the field behind our house... but if I find a broken window someday I will know exactly who to blame!

Painted House

Our house has been painted and I love it! I was worried at first that it would be too similar to our neighbors and that they would all be mad at me, but the color turned out great! Brian and Jeff recently put up our white blinds, and that is my favorite part!Here is Max at 10 weeks old, Jeff likes these pictures because he thinks he looks like his Aunt Emily!This is what Fiona does when I am playing on the computer. She would much rather be upstairs on the comfy couch than on the floor in the basement!

All in a days work

I went to see Jeff last night and this morning and was able to spend some time OTJ! Everyone was very nice and welcoming, I felt like part of the ruffneck family. The machines and tools were all very impressive, and fantastic to photograph. I don't know how Jeff works 12 hours straight on such little sleep, but I sure am proud of him! Now I know exactly what he is doing and where he is doing it at, which makes it a little less scary while he is gone. Today was also Tylers baptism through his Methodist church. It was a very lovely service and Tyler was absolutely wonderful! It is so fun watching him get bigger by the day!

Summer is here

Today was the first day of the year where it actually felt a little like Summer! It has been raining non stop for the last few weeks so I was beginning to worry that I wouldn't be able to enjoy the outdoors any time soon. This morning though, Jeff and I headed up Waterton Canyon to go for a bike ride. We rode up to this dam which was pretty cool. I also discovered how hard it is to try and take pictures while operating a moving bike, which explains the blurriness. After getting horribly sunburned (my first burn of the year!) we went to Pier 1 only to discover they do not do registries. We are running out of options and are thinking about registering at Dick's and REI... Just kidding! We'll probably stick with Target and BB&B. After that 15 minutes of 'shopping' which is about the most either of us can tolerate anyway, we went back to bbq with our lonely puppy. Even our cat, Pazzo came out to play in the sun! Not for long though, after about 2 minutes of being chased around by the big dumb dog she was crying to go back inside. I'd show the picture of our yummy steak and gorganzola green beans, but as usual it just looks like a big pile of slop! Happy beginning of Summer everyone!

Wedding season has begun!

I spent the weekend in beautiful Boston and Vermont for a friends wedding. The weather was gorgeous and the location was spectacular, a golf course that I am sure Jeff would love.The parents of the groom live in North Bennington, VT. This is the house that we got to stay at...talk about an awesome crib! The owners were living in their second home (yeah...) so they were very kind to let the wedding party stay there. We liked to refer to it as our Real World, North Bennington home. After the wedding Jeff and I got a lot done for our big day. We knocked some registering out of the way AND booked a group hotel. Talk about productive. Only seven more months to go!Jeff brought the camera up to his rig to take some pictures to show everyone. So here is where he spends half of his time! Last month he had to climb all the way up to the top...what a brave guy!
