My little chunky monk nephew, Max is 7 and a half weeks old now. (if I did the math correctly...) He is sporting his lovely camo gear so you may not be able to see him, he blends in so well with that brown pillow. This is the first time I've seen a picture of him smiling, so just thought I'd share! Tonight is game 2 GO NUGGETS! I get to put off the rest of my junk room cleaning for a little while to enjoy a little bit of basketball finals action.
Herbie is here! Jeff and I didn't tell anyone, but we've been pregnant with our son for the last 9 months! I told everyone I was just putting on pre-wedding/new house/new job stress weight, but really I was cooking a baby..Isn't he cute? Good ol' Herbie. JUST KIDDING! I just thought I'd join the mommy club too, so I created the Emily/Jeff child on the BMW website...according to the folks who make german cars, this is what our future baby will look like..I'm hoping they are wrong because little Herbie looks a little creepy if you ask me. Anyway, no new news today to report! Jeff went back to work so I've got the whole house to myself. I think my main project for this week will be to turn the 'junk room' into another guest room. And if anyone has seen the junk room they will know that this is a big project! Hope everyone has a great week!
Today we got to visit with our little nephew, Tyler. Today was his 5th day here so we had to have a bbq to celebrate! We had hamburgers and hotdogs, potato salad and baked beans, and an ice cream cake. It was great to see Tyler in his home with his mom and dad and all his great new toys! Lizzy took very good care of him and made sure to give him kisses about every ten minutes. Tyler had fun gossiping with the ladies and watching Uncle Jeff electrocute himself. Well, he didn't see it happen but he heard about it anyway. We are so happy that Tyler is here and well, what a darling little boy he is! We love you Tyler! 
It's funny how time flies by so quickly! It is going on the 11th month since Jeff first asked me to marry him. Look at how much has changed in that amount of time... I am waiting for my second nephew or first niece to arrive, I've moved into a new town, I've gotten a new job, and I've probably gained at least 5lbs! Okay, so maybe I could have gone with out the last thing ;) It just makes me wonder what in the world will be going on 11 months from now? Today Lori and I finished painting the basement. Once everything is put back into it's normal spot I'll post some pictures of before and after. Just wait till you see the lovely purple I've chosen for my living room. As far as wedding planning goes... I did try the dress on again, sometimes a girl just can't resist!
Today Jeff, Fiona any I went on a hike up to Dinosaur Ridge. I noticed a sign for it on my way to work so I suggested it to Jeff as somewhere fun to go. He told me it was just a parking lot, but turns out it was a place where they've discovered dinosaur tracks! I thought it was pretty neat, but Fiona was more interested in all the sticks she was finding. Afterward we had a great dinner over at the Overman's house. They made us delicious steak and broccoli and then I got to have some of their famous mac-and-cheese that I've heard so much about for the past several years! Mmm, it was very yummy!
