Still Here!

Just wanted to see if any of the issues were resolved but it is still not allowing me to upload photos. Weird, huh?!

In case you're wondering there hasn't been much to blog about anyway. Unless you count my first attempt back at jogging yesterday after taking an injury break. That was interesting, hopefully no one was watching me struggle to 'jog' while pushing the jogger stroller. Yikes!

New Blog

Well I'm sad to say my blogger days may be done :(

I have always had issues with the site and now it won't let me upload any pictures or comment on anyone's page. I'm sure the issue could be resolved but after a week of trying I'm using it as an opportunity to move on! Don't get me wrong, I may be back if my new wordpress location doesn't work out. For the time being follow me here.

Bare with me as I try to figure out how to format the blog to make it the way I like. I am loving all the options wordpress has and I think I'll like it much  better in the end. I also able to print wordpress into a book as well which is the whole reason I do the blog to begin with :) We will see how it goes!

9 Months

Hmm. Blogger seems to be having problems today, I can't upload any pictures. Anyone else having this problem?

In the meantime I've been slacking on JJ's monthly updates. Here's a little rundown of month 9:

• Prefers big boy food over anything else his current favorites chicken, beef, blueberries, avacados, cinnamon toast, cheese and a bite of anything Mommy and Daddy are eating 
• Loves wrestling with his Daddy
• Momma's boy
• But he also loves snuggling others too
• I don't know if he does this to anyone else but he gives me big slobbery kisses, he lunges for my face and covers his whole mouth over whatever he can get, I love my baby boy kisses!
• Waves hi
• Reaches up when he wants me to pick him up
• Stair climber
• Gets very angry when you take his toys away from him
• Speed crawling boy on a mission
• Starting to stand on his own for a few seconds at a time
• Loves playing in the basement playroom exploring each toy one after the other
• Most ticklish baby that I've ever met
• Also the most gigglish, I love it!
• Is an equal dog and cat lover and loves snuggling with Fiona and petting (grabbing) Pazzo's fur
• Nurses every 2-3 hours or so in the daytime and still waking up 2 times at night except for the past two days with his cold he barely wants to eat at all poor thing!
• Size 3 diapers
• Wears 9-12 month clothing
• Beautiful blue eyes
• Light brown/blond/hint of red hair just like his Sister
• Baby babble constantly but no words forming yet although he often says Jay-Jay-Jay ;)
• Loves to dance, if a theme song from a cartoon comes on or a song on the radio he will instantly stop what he's doing and start rocking to the beat
• Still hates the car seat but is getting a little better meaning he doesn't immediately burst into tears as soon as we put him in which is an improvement! 3 more months till the big boy seat...who's counting?
• 6 teeth; 4 on top 2 on bottom

We just love you little one to death!

Bring on the New Year!

The title of this post is misleading. You would think this would be an entry of our exciting New Years Eve/anniversary. But truth be told we were in our jammies by 5 and in bed by 8... that is until the kids woke up at 10 both wanting in our bed for not feeling well and then later at quarter till midnight. So at least I can say I was up when the ball dropped ;)

Before our colds hit we had a great time playing with all the new Christmas goodies.

She has fun shooting baskets but I think she has even more fun cheering herself on.

JJ still loves his pirate ship and even more now that we loaded it with batteries to make cool pirate noises.

 

Over the weekend Kara and Russ were so kind to invite us up to their family cabin. We had to bundle up for a little bit while the heat kicked in but JJ didn't mind, he loves his snuggling!

The kids had a blast exploring the cabin getting into adventures together. JJ thought he was a big boy with the rest of them.

Snack time!

 On Saturday the boys filled up the inner tubes for sledding.

 The driveway leading up to the cabin was the perfect sized hill.

 The kids loved it! I was surprised that Johanna kept asking to go again and again, she was having a blast.

 

 After spending a good time out in the sun we came indoors to warm up with grilled cheese and tomato soup. Guess who loved his first sandwich...

What a fun way to spend the weekend, thanks for inviting us Aunt Tura!

 

Happy New Year everyone! 2013 will be a great year I just know it! My resolution for the year is to moisturise my face everyday and to get more sleep. I can say I am doing great with one and not so great with the other ;)
