Last week Jeff and I had the brilliant idea to throw a pillow into Fiona's crate before we left for work thinking she'd use it to sleep on. BAD IDEA! When I got home from work that day the pillow had been entirely torn apart by the spastic dog. One week later I came home on my lunch break and noticed Fiona was acting pretty strange. She was throwing up continuously and wouldn't leave my side! If I think Fiona is being more clingy that usual, something has to be up. I took her in to the vet where they started x-rays right away. A few hours later I had to rush her over to the emergency vet hospital for surgery! Apparently miss Fiona had eaten a bunch of the pillow stuffing and it had gotten caught and twisted into her intestines! But three days later she came home again and now she is doing very well! She's already back to eating 2/3 of her normal amount of food, and is nearly done with all of her medications. Thank God!
In other news... I have decided that I wasn't participating in the walking challenge anymore.. After going for a 4 mile run and seeing that it only was showing up as 1.6 miles I boycotted the challenge. Hahaha. Oh well.. at least I am running again on my own!
