Baseball, flowers, and rugs

This weekend was a lot of fun! Jeff and I got to spend some quality time with my friends Kristi and Brooke at the Rockies game. Even though it was a miserable game for my team, it was still a blast catching up with my girls. (The picture above is my favorite player, Todd.) Jeff has been working downtown the last few days so we met him at the stadium. He has been liking work at the office, but is already starting to complain about sitting on his butt all day. (I knew he wouldn't like it as much as being outside all day!) He did surprise me after his first day of working at the office with these beautiful hydrangeas. My Grandma had a beautiful bush(?) of these at her house in blue that I just loved. Hopefully mine last more than a week once I plant them into a pot! In other news, my rug from my family came in today. It's beautiful and matches my eggplant wall. Slowly my house is starting to feel like a home, how exciting! Oh! I played my first 9 holes of golf on Sunday, now that is exciting news. And suprisingly, I thought it was pretty fun!

  1. You guys sure are busy! I love the flowers! I can't ever keep those alive past the first bloom, but I'm sure you'll do great!

  2. They like acid, the more acid the soil the blooms are blue, the more alkaline the blooms are pink. They like filtered light and are very drought sensitive. They also do not like to be rootbound.

    Great new headline pic!
