So we are making progress toward the Disney Princess nursery. I ordered the bedding online and am excited to see what it looks like in person! You can't have too much pink, right?

For the walls I'm
thinking having all but one the light pink of the two colors above, then having one accent wall with the additional pink in stripes. The curtains would be a light pink and a white sheer, kind of like you see in the picture above.

I also got this wall decal to put somewhere on the walls, maybe above the crib.

There is this wall hanging which I think is great! The only downside is that it is made out of paper.
What do you think, too much pink? :)
I think it it going to be beautiful, I think the walls should be a real light pink it order to make all the accessories pop, with the crib too. great job gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteFun fun fun and super cute! I haven't even thought nursery-I'm a lil behind the game!!! Love all the pink!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are thinkin' pink and brown with some how infusing polka dots cuz I just love polka dots!!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I love the light pink! Jeff is not looking forward to painting the wall with stripes but I said I have to be pregnant for 9 months you can spend a day painting, :)
ReplyDeletePink and brown would look great, I love the combination of the two colors. http://www.rosenberryrooms.com/184-circle-time-crib-bedding-in-pink-6-piece-set.html
That bedding is really cute!
Great choices! I think when you know it's a girl, it's okay to go crazy with the pink. Not too much at all :) It's going to be so pretty! I can't wait to see the finished product! And tell Jeff that if Russ can paint stripes then he can too! Getting the green painter's tape and caulking the seams makes the cleanest lines in our experience...Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI went to Walmart today and they had the cutest hand print and foot print thingys. They were pink and they were castles and princess things. They looked like the blanket that you have in the picture. They were ceramic. They really were cute and I thought of you, but they were so heavy, I don't know how they would do on a wall and they were for hanging. I guess a stud bolt or whatever you call them.
ReplyDeletethat sounds awesome! I will have to go to Walmart and see if we have them here in Colorado. Or I could check out their website too, thanks Elaine!
