Maxwell Kenneth Hill was born yesterday. He is a very big boy 10lbs 4 oz, 22.5 inches...takes after his mommy and daddy! Melissa had to push for 2 hours, but she got him out! Little Max is in the NICU for the next week though. While in the womb he swallowed some meconium, the Dr. could tell after she broke the water so they were ready when he came out. He is doing much better now, he just needs to stay the remainder of the time to continue being monitored and finish off his antibiotics. He has oxygen going into his nose to help his lungs and he has his little IV going into his head so that he gets his medicine. He is so cute... and long. I love him! Maybe a career in basketball? And now I can officially be called Auntie Em. 24 years in waiting!

My Nephew

Congratulations to your sister and family. I LOVE his name, Maxwell is great! All the craziness of labor & delivery is well worth it once you get that baby in your arms. I wish him the very best!!!

Yay! Pass our congratulations on to your sister and brother in-law. He really is a big baby! She did a great job getting him ready for the world! He'll be out of there before you know it and he'll be even more healthy and strong in the long run. It is so exciting!!! Congratulations Auntie Em!!!
