So today was a great day for me! I was offered a position as a House Manager and Staffing Coordinator for an Assisted Living community. I wanted take a different direction in healthcare and focus on something more positive than Sex Offender Management, so now I get to manage staff and the elderly! I am a little nervous to try something new, (I've never had to hire anyone or write schedules!) but I think I will do okay...keep your fingers crossed! After hearing the good news Lori and I got to go out for a date night since both of our men were busy doing other things (mine working and hers at poker night) so we got to do girly things instead. We looked at paint colors at Lowe's and I am still having a hard time deciding exactly which shade of brownish/taupe/coffee/hazelnutty color that I want. We also looked at doors, blinds, toilets, and drapes until I got too overwhelmed and we had to go get wine and food instead.
I can't believe I just left your house and you didn't say anything! Congratulations! Where is it? The building is so pretty! Wow!
ReplyDeleteWell it's because we had so much to catch up on! It will be a commute as well...Wheat Ridge, for me it's about a 25 minute drive..oh well time for me to drink my coffee!
