This week we got to spend some time with Russ, Kara and Tyler while they were out visiting for Tyler's first birthday. Kara did a fantastic job with his party, and the weather was beautiful for a bbq. We are looking forward to their next visit this upcoming July.
Tyler got to hang out with Fiona again, and right away he knew exactly what she was. He kept saying 'dog! dog!' and would get the biggest smile on his face, what a smart boy!
Here is a picture of little Tyler when he saw his uncle Jeff. He wasn't sure what to think of him, but he thought he was pretty goofy!
My stomach seems to me morphing into different sizes depending on the day. Here I am early morning of week 14 looking fairly small.
But here I am two days later looking huge! In my defense, we had just gotten done eating a huge meal at Gigi's house, so my stomach was stuffed completely full. And yes, Fiona is indeed rubbing her butt in the grass...she sure knows how to ruin a photo. We had our 4 week check-up on Friday and everything looks great. I haven't set the appointment yet, but we're looking at Monday, June 14th as the date to find out whether we're having a boy or girl! I can barely wait, I am so excited to find out. Jeff and I are both just hoping for a healthy baby and don't have preferences this time around for which sex, but I still have a feeling it's a boy. I should note though that I have never successfully guessed the sex of any one's baby. Jeff still has his money on girl. Five more weeks and we'll have an answer, and can finally start thinking of some names. You guys are going to have to wait until the big day though to find out, we're keeping that one a surprise!

Your pictures were wonderful, Fiona just loves babies. This blog really made me laugh , it was well worth waiting for.
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!!! What are you talking about gaining 14lbs-WHERE???? You are sooooo cute!!! Love that pic with Tyler and fiona, and the one with fiona and the butt is hilarious!!! Love the updates keep 'em coming!!! Can't wait to see what you are having-looks like you are caring low like me...my guess is girl;) We too are saving the name for the big day-but one thing I fear, so many girls are having babies around me, I'm afraid that if I don't speak up-it might get snagged!!! So I'm tore some days!

ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what the body can do, huh? Can't wait for that baby! You are entering the second trimester, which is so very fabulous. You look pregnant, but aren't huge, and generally feel really great. Very soon you'll be able to feel the little critter too. HOORAY. I hope it's a girl, Aunty Lori needs one. :)
ReplyDeleteluckily not 14lbs yet, we're hanging in at 6lbs so far! And Jolene, I can't wait to feel him/her move!! I thought I did last week...but still think it may be too early, so I'm hoping it happens again soon. yay babies! And yeah, Staci I chopped off some more hair, I can't stop! Jeff says I'm on the fast track for a grandma afro

ReplyDeleteI agree with the changing sizes. Some days I can fit into my old pants no problem and other days there is no way I could wear anything but maternity clothes.
Tyler sure does love Fiona (any dogs). When we picked up Lizzy from the kennel I bet he said dog fifty times in the car on the way home.
