Randolph AFB and Leo

This past week we traveled to San Antonio, Texas to celebrate my Cousin Lauren's wedding. My Aunt is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force so she was able to arrange housing accommodations for our family at the Air Force base nearby. We stayed in a 3 bedroom home which was fantastic for my family, we each had our own bedroom but were still able to spend time together in the living room, dining room and kitchen of the house- it was awesome!
Randolph Air Force Base is a training facility for pilots so our home for the week was right next to the flight line. It was fun going for walks in the morning around base to check out the different aircraft. Hearing reveille in the morning and taps at night over the loud speakers brought back memories of my training days and also an odd feeling of being at Summer camp.

It was so much fun being able to wake up with my Nephew Leo and spend the whole day with him. He is the smiliest baby that I have ever met, every time her looked at him or said pretty much anything the cutie would get the biggest grin. He has the most beautiful blue eyes and super long eyelashes just like his Momma!
He is also very big just like his big brother Max is he is almost as tall as Johanna! Speaking of Johanna, she may have been fussy all week (I'll get into that later) but she was never fussy with her Cousin. She loved to give him smooches.

We caught her rocking Leo in his car seat while we were waiting to get going for the day, it was so cute. She would also tickle his toes and point at his nose. We love you, Leo!
