So last night Johanna slept with one of my pillows instead of her pillow pets pillows. She loved it so much that today we went out to get her her very own big girl pillow. Well that turned into finding a Minnie Mouse bed set that she of course had to have which then turned into Jeff taking down the side of her crib to put her bed rail up. The nice thing about her crib is that it turns into a daybed then later we can use it as a bedframe for her full bed too. I figured hey if she isn't ready it's a quick fix right back to her crib!
She was very excited to help Daddy with her big girl bed.

She was so excited to sleep in her new daybed she went right to sleep. We will see how she does... she is such a great sleeper if she doesn't do well with naps or sleeping we are going right back to crib. (Can you tell I'm already a little sleep deprived from peanut #2?) Keep you posted!
Oh my goodness!! No way!! We were talking about building Nathan's bed this week since the boys did so well sharing a room at grandma's!! She looks so happy in there :)
ReplyDeleteShe is super happy in her little Minnie Mouse bed it was hilarious! Hopefully it lasts, I'll let you know. I think Tyler and Nathan are going to loooooooove being room buddies. I can't wait to hear about the big move!

ReplyDeleteWoohooo!!!! Brynn did great when we went from crib to toddler bed, same surrounding...she even didn't realize she could get out...still waited for us to come get her...when we got the twin bed, her head got turned round... just wouldn't look right with her head really at the foot;) and she realized how big the bed was in relation to her...and well you know the rest;) can get out and such. Guess the trick is getting them so tired that they don't want to get out...learn from me;) Good luck with the toddler bed, hope it's easier on your back as it has been for me!!! Johanna will do awesome, she is such a smart cookie!!! Love you guys!!!
