Cherry Creek Sneak

Today I ran in the Cherry Creek Sneak 5k. I've only had two opportunities to go jogging while Jeff's been away so I wasn't sure how I would do. Luckily I was able to finish with out taking any walking breaks and I even beat my time from St. Patrick's Day. Granted this course had no hills where last course had several and I had only improved by 9 seconds (29:24.) Hopefully I can spend more time jogging this month to accomplish my goal of  shredding a minute off each mile. :)

 Johanna wasn't sure why everyone was jogging by, but she had a great time cheering everyone on regardless.

 The Rockies mascot was around after the race so we had to make sure Johanna got to see him up close.

 Dinger the Dinosaur...much cooler than that other purple dinosaur.

 They even had a little petting zoo set up. Johanna was able to met several different animals. A pony, rabbit and baby goat.

 This baby was born one week earlier on Easter Sunday.

I think after our busy morning Johanna was more pooped than I was! She fell asleep on Daddy's shoulder before we even made it back to the car.
