Last night we went to a Christmas party with Moms and Tots at church. Johanna was having a blast at first; we made a Christmas craft and got to eat a yummy spaghetti dinner. But then all of a sudden the hall doors opened and in walked her worst nightmare...Santa Claus. As soon as she saw him she immediately clung to Jeff and wanted nothing to do with him. We each brought a wrapped book with our child's name on it, then Santa went through his present bag and called up each child to come get their present and sit on his lap. The entire time Johanna would not let go of us and kept saying no, no, no! Finally, when Santa called her name she knew exactly what she was about to be forced to do so she clung on to her Daddy for dear life. Santa made Jeff sit on his lap and it was hilarious!
When Johanna was safe on my lap she was very excited to open up her Christmas present. But when we asked her later if she wanted to go see Santa she immediately responded with a desperate no, no no! again. Haha, poor Santa maybe she will like him next year...
HA!!!! I love the picture of Jeff on Santa's lap! That is awesome!!! I've missed all the xmas tree posts....love it love it. Isn't cutting down your own tree so much fun! We have no snow here, I am so not in the xmas mood! Can't decide if it was sunny cabo or no snow here, but I gotta get motivated!
