Pool Time

This girl loves the pool! The hotel that we stayed in had a little mini water park with a giant water slide, baby slide and fountain to play in. We decided since we were short on time we weren't going to spend the money to get into the hot springs pool for only a few hours instead we would spend the morning in the pool. After a walk down the street to a breakfast spot for some coffee and eggs we came back to the room and put our suits on. We...okay, I was the one who packed so I... forgot to pack a swim diaper but luckily they had some at the front desk for 2 bucks. Johanna got to sport her princess robe down to the pool that her second cousin (or is it great?) Leah got her, isn't it cute!

 Jeff had a lot of fun splashing around the water with her. This was his first time in the pool with her he was amazed at how well she did! He kept asking if he could dunk her but I told him no, I wasn't ready for that yet :)

Next month we are starting swim classes. Even though we've been getting a lot of swim time in on our own, I figured it would be a fun opportunity to meet other Moms and learn some skills (like dunking) to keep her comfortable and safe in the water. It will be two days a week for four weeks, so stay posted on that!

I love this picture... doesn't it look like we are going on something much scarier than what we really are? We are plummeting into half a foot of water but we had to brace ourselves for the big splash.

She loved it! We stayed in the pool all the way up till ten minutes until check-out time. We rushed back up to our rooms to wash off and get dressed for the day. We had such a great time at the hotel. It was kid friendly, walking distance from a bunch of cute restaurants and connected to the tram ride that led to the adventure park. The best part was they had upgraded our room to a suite with a whirl pool. It came with bath salts that we added to the water so we pretended we were at the hot springs even though we didn't go this time, haha. Johanna loved it just as much as the pool!
