Holy Saturday

The last week we've had the pleasure of having my Mom and Dad in town. They happened to be here over Easter weekend so we made sure to make the most out of the holiday by having as many egg hunts as possible! Our first one started at our house where Johanna got to hunt for her princess basket filled with Easter goodies...her favorite being her first chocolate bunny.
Later that morning we met up with Kara, Russ and the boys for the annual HRCA egg hunt. I didn't take this photo (took it from their facebook page...) but I had to post it because how hilarious is it to see grown adults with baskets full of 30+ eggs? Good grief you silly parents!
Waiting for the countdown...
...still waiting, but inching closer...
And they're off!
Johanna only wanted to pick up the teal and purple eggs.
The kids checking out their goods.
Mr. JJ was busy sleeping and missed out on all the action!

Later that evening we boiled some eggs for Johanna to decorate. She really got a kick out of placing the egg into the cup and stirring it up.

Next year I'll be able to decorate too!
