Easter Sunday

Happy Easter! So I'd love to say our morning started out great, but in reality we woke up with a very grouchy toddler that wanted nothing to do with getting dressed or going anywhere. We may not have made it to church but we did get to enjoy some Easter donuts! Johanna spent some time adding some finishing touches to her Easter eggs (yes, those are rhinestones and princess stickers of course) while my Dad made some of his yummy quiche's for our Easter Brunch.

Afterward we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's for our Easter brunch. The weather was beautiful and we had such a great time visiting with everyone! Grandma had gotten all the kiddos some super fun Easter baskets full of more goodies, Johanna's favorites were her magical baby bottles that emptied as she fed them to her dolls. Nathan really enjoyed the Easter bunny ears. While the kids were busy inside Kara and Russ hid dozens (and I mean dozens!) of eggs all over the yard. They really do have the perfect yard for egg hunts, it will be a lot of fun to watch them as they grow older and more competitive! We will have to start coming up with some creative spots to hide the eggs :)

JJ was so busy being passed around that I forgot to take a picture of him in his adorable little outfit from his Aunt Kara. Since he is quickly growing out of all newborn clothing he will be wearing it again to church this week and I must take a picture of it! In the meantime here is a photo I managed to take of his cute little shoes.
