Daddy's Girl

I never had any doubts that Jeff would make a great Daddy for his little daughter, but he has surprised me with just how great he is. This little girls LOVES her Dad, she loves snuggling with him and playing with him. I am even sad to say she loves watching football with him. Since day one, Jeff has embraced his role as Daddy and taken on any challenge that I (or Johanna) throw at him. He changes diapers like a pro, picks out outfits for the day and helps with everything else. Except baths. Those are too scary for him right now even though he's been shown several times. I guess some jobs will always be Mommy jobs. Thanks for being such a great Dad Jeff, we love you!

*Note: Jeff saw the blog and was horrified. Said he looked like a giant box with a head. He wanted to let everyone know to stop worrying about him and that he hasn't gained 100lbs. I laughed for about ten minutes because I hadn't really looked at him, mostly Johanna. But now looking back the pictures are pretty funny, particularly third one from the top. Sorry Jeff :)

  1. The best zonked out photo yet! Daddy and baby cuteness abound. Stagg Clan bath story... I say "Bitty, let's go have a bath." BItty says, "Ok, Mama, but don't let Daddy do it, cause last time he poured water on LindyJean's face and then smashed her head, he is not good at baths. He says that babies are liked greased piggies when they are soaped up!" I almost fell over laughing. Love this post, too cute!
