Sleepy, drooling baby

Today Johanna and I check out the story time at our library and it was great! It was for babies one and under and whoever wanted to join them. We read 3 stories, sang some songs and danced. Johanna made it about half way through and then fell asleep on my lap, she didn't get to play with a scarf during the scarf song. I didn't take a picture at story time, but the above picture is of Fiona and Johanna taking a nap together. Fiona is starting to get more comfortable with Johanna and loves to inch closer and closer to her when she can. She always looks up at me with big guilty eyes as if to say, "Is this okay Mom?" Johanna has become a drooling monster! Sometimes I need to change her outfit halfway through the day because she will have it soaked.Despite trying viciously to find her thumbs, she still hasn't quite gotten the hang of it. She loves practicing by shoving as much of her fist in that she can.
Johanna loves to be awake and play but not as much as she loves to sleep. In fact, the little peanut just fell asleep in her swing as I type this...maybe she is working on some growing? She loves hanging out with me cuddled up in her Boppy, but she gets so comfortable it usually ends in her nodding off. Nights have been great now that she has her schedule established. Around 8 o'clock we start getting ready for bedtime and by 8:30 she is asleep. She wakes up around 3:30 for a night time meal, then is back to sleep until 7:30. I have been graciously taking the opportunity to go for a jog before Jeff heads of to work in the morning. This morning I jogged 3 miles around the track at the gym and it felt great! When I get back I even have time to shower and have a cup of coffee before she wakes up. Hopefully she keeps this schedule up!

Johanna LOVES standing up on her strong chubby legs. When she was a newborn she would scooch across our tummy's pushing her feet off of our hands. Now that she is bigger she likes to push off of our laps while we hold her hands to stretch out.
