11 Months

 Okay, this post may be a little late. Johanna is actually 11 months and 1 week old but these pictures are from last week :) She will be 1 at the end of the month and I can't believe it. Her birthday party invitations have been sent and her 1 year appointment has been scheduled. It is true what they say, time does fly! Here's a little of what she's been up to:

-Loves blowing kisses like in the picture above

-Does the hand motions to itsy bitsy spider

 - Is starting to figure out how some of her toys work. She can push little buttons to turn things on and off like her little flash light.

-Knows what books are and will go to her bookshelf when we say go get a book!

 -Can stand on her own for several seconds and has taken about 4-5 steps on her own but still prefers to speed crawl

-Likes to stand up in shopping carts and give her Mom a heart attack

- Loves her "daw' and "At" and is learning to be gentle when she pets them.

-Is learning words like bird (birfs) fish (irsh) and duck (duh)

-When reading Where is Baby's Belly Button she can point to her eyes and mouth!

 -Puts anything and everything into her mouth.

-Feeds Fiona all of the food she doesn't want even when she is told not to

-Wants a bite of everything Mom and Dad are eating

-Nurses once in the morning and has 3 bottles throughout the day

-We have started putting 1 oz of whole milk into her bottle

-Loves giving smooches and snuggles all of her stuffed animals, blankets and dolls

-Has figured out her legs can be a useful weapon when she wants to throw a fit

-Eats paper no matter how many times I say no and icky

-Still is my gummy baby with her two little bottom teeth
