It has been so much fun watching Johanna receive gifts from her loved ones from out of town. I must admit, watching her open stuff is ten times more fun than it is to get a gift myself! It is hard being away from you all but she has so much fun opening up the boxes and finding out what is inside. Thank you so so much everyone for thinking of us!
Look at this awesome sign from our Cousin Leah, what a cool idea. Best part it has firmly motivated (okay, forced) me to finally print out some pictures of miss Johanna to put behind the letters. Thank you so much Leah!!
Here she is reading a Critter's Halloween book from her cousins Max and Leo. Of course she spotted a cat on the page in a matter of seconds and is saying mowwwww in this picture. We love you guys! (Mom ate all the candy...)
Then we got two packages in the mail to open. One was in a big giant box that Johanna had a blast climbing all around on. We had just come back from a Halloween party which explains the outfit.
So excited to see what is inside the box from her Aunt Lindsey!
It's an OSU brutus the buckeye pillow pal! The first thing she did was snuggle up with him, I think that means she likes him!
Lindsey is an OSU alumni so she wanted to be sure she made a buckeye fan out of Johanna, I think this pillow pal is helping her cause!
Pointing out his nose.
Oma sent this adorable Christmas dress. It is so soft and colorful, I can't wait till the day after Thanksgiving so Johanna can wear it!
Lastly, we got another gift from Cousin Leah a Halloween candy bag with Johanna's name monogrammed on the front with a picture of a big black cat. Cats are Johanna's favorite so she was so excited to see the bag!
Thanks again everyone, we love you all so much!
I am a grandma and still love getting presents at my front door, even if i ordered and paid for them. ha Ha !
