Advent Calendars and Chocolates

 To kick off the holiday season we went out looking for JJ's stocking. We knew we had to make a stop at the biggest Christmas shop in Colorado, St. Nicks. Although we didn't find the one I was looking for we had plenty of fun picking out our 2012 ornaments. Johanna was in awe of the ballerina tree but in the end decided upon a Mickey Mouse ornament. JJ was smitten with his jingle bells ornament. We had to get him a baby's first Christmas ornament as well.

Johanna got an Advent calendar from her Aunt Melissa and she's been patiently waiting to open the doors for a few weeks now. Nana also sent one which was perfect since JJ was equally excited.

 

We were a day behind so Johanna got to pick two chocolates. She has a lot of fun searching for the numbers and popping the door open.

JJ needed some help but he is having a lot of fun with it too! He doesn't get the candy this year but he doesn't seem to know what he's missing. He just loves doing the same thing as big sis.

"Oh! There it is!"

Ernie got into plenty of mischief the first week of 30 days till Christmas. He got into the kleenex, Johanna's dress up box, her boombox, felt board and even had a tea party with some friends.
