Disney On Ice

On Saturday we took Johanna out on a Mommy Daddy date. We saw an advertisement for Disney's Dare to Dream on ice and both had a hunch Johanna would love it. We started the evening out with dinner at Brooklynn's. Johanna was such a big girl sitting in her chair.
The restaurant is across the street from the arena so of course it was full of families and their little princesses. She loved looking around at all the little girls in their dresses.
Johanna and her big girl meal that she picked out. Can you believe this is their kids meal? Doesn't it look huge?! Look at the size of that milk.
When we got to our seats Johanna was busy looking around at everything. She had been talking about meeting 'Punzel ever since we told her we were going a few days prior. She was watching like a hawk trying to find her. Wonder why she isn't wearing a sweater or a coat? Downright refused...over and over. She didn't want anything covering her Cinderella dress.
There she is! The program showcased three Disney movies; The Princess Frog, Cinderella and then lastly Tangled. Rapunzel was our favorite.
Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy were there as well. At the end of the show all the other princesses came out too. Johanna was in heaven, she would scream their names and wave frantically as soon as she recognized them.
With how much dancing they were doing it was so easy to forget they were doing it all on ice in skates!
The only part Johanna lost interest was after Tiana and Prince Naveen turned into frogs. As soon as she turned back to a princess she was locked in again and never took her eyes off the stage.
See Maximus the horse in the background? Two ice skaters to make him, pretty cool but I'd hate to be the butt.
 Johanna's favorite part.
I don't know what Jeff and I liked better, the show or watching Johanna and all her expressions. She sat so well during the whole thing and had her hands up against her face like "Oh my gosh, I can't believe this!" She was so cute when she would wave her hand frantically, "Hi Cinderella!! It's me! Johanna!!!" She would crack up when she saw Donald Duck and ooh'd and ahhh'd at all the theatrics. It was so magical!
