Week in Review

I needed to take a minute and look at some pictures from my week to reflect on my little blessings. Sunday was little Etta's birthday. Her Mom threw a wonderful sticker party with all things sticky and we had a great time. These girls sure do love each other!

My favorite part of the party was the mustache station. Johanna wanted nothing to do with them (of course) but JJ tried a few pairs on. Hee Hee.. thanks for these pictures Katie, they make me laugh!
This week JJ has been mastering the stairs. Gives me a heart attack every time I see him, guess it's time for the baby gates to make their appearance again!

Johanna has been taking care of her bitty baby.
Her impression of me in the morning... "What are you all doing up so early?!" -me at 5:30 AM.

DJ crazy hair mixing the tunes.
Can't have your snack with out your shoes off...
This week we got a package from my Mom and the box was full of packing peanuts.

So this was their entertainment for a good hour.
Crunch...crunch...crunch... repeat, repeat, repeat.
Peanut butt!
JJ has discovered the potty room has tons of stuff to climb on and destroy, and bonus Mommy never wants me in there so now it's my mission every time I'm upstairs.
Thursday we dressed in green and red and headed to an assisted living home to visit with the residents.
I was worried the kids would cry but in fact they were the opposite! The house was actually in a very nice residential neighborhood in the town of Castle Pines. It was a home setting so we met in their living room and had the kids play on the carpet in front of everyone. Johanna had fun bringing stuffed animals to all the ladies and showing them her sparkly dress. Then she would point out Mommy and baby brother JJ. I was so proud of her!
JJ is a big slobber monster because he is working on four top teeth. Yes four all at once, yikes!
A quote from one of my favorite Christmas movies, Elf.
